The Dark Knight Rises gets a lighter makeover in a new fan-made trailer. The trailer (which you can watch below), made by Nicolas of ParanickFilmz, is a shot-for-shot recreation of the second Dark Knight Rises trailer that debuted in late December of 2011 — except in this version everything is made of Lego.
The dark tone conveyed in the original trailer is not lost in this toy-inspired version. “There’s a storm coming, Mr. Wayne,” snarls Lego Selina Kyle, still voiced by Anne Hathaway “You and your friends better batten down the hatches. Because when it hits, you’re all going to wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us.”
