The Dark Knight rises at CinemaCon 2012
Batman fans need not fret, you will be able to understand the movie’s villainous Bane come July 20th. New footage of the anticipated finale to Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises was revealed at CinemaCon 2012, showing a vast improvement to the murky audio featured in the previous sneak preview. In December, Warner Brothers premiered a six-minute teaser of the film ahead of IMAX screenings for Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. While still impressed with the overall trailer, many fans complained that Tom Hardy’s pumped-up supervillain was almost inaudible, making it difficult to understand anything he said. Producers clearly took the criticism to heart, clearing up the audio for an improved viewing experience. The footage itself was largely similar to the prologue that premiered in December, opening with the same airplane high jacking scene. Along with the sizzle reel, new images from the film were revealed showing Batman and Bane locked in an intense fight sequence.
