AMC to show entire Batman trilogy
When The Dark Knight Rises premieres in July it will be the culmination of 450 minutes of storytelling. In fact, so much detail has been given in the past two installments it’s easy to forget what brought Batman to his ultimate conclusion. That’s where AMC comes in. The theater chain is coming to the rescue, announcing the Dark Knight Rises Marathon for July 19. The extravaganza will feature screenings of both Batman Begins and The Dark Knight before the midnight premiere of The Dark Knight Rises (clocking in at 165 minutes, the movie night should wrap up shortly before 3 a.m.). Tickets go on sale June 11 at noon.
