Dark Knight Rises tour dates announced
Batman is coming to Canada—sort of. The previously announced The Dark Knight Rises tour has released its schedule of stops, including its week-long stint in the Great North. At the tour, fans can get up close and personal with the Bat Pod and Tumbler, two vehicles Bruce Wayne’s vigilante alter ego uses for transportation while saving the day in Gotham City. The Canadian leg of the tour starts June 4 at the Table Rock Welcome Centre in Niagara Falls, before traveling to Toronto on June 6 for an appearance at the Bay Adelaide Centre. The next day the promotion continues with back-to-back stops at 102.1 The Edge Studios and the RioCan Yonge Eglinton Centre Courtyard. On June 8, Batman makes some children very happy at Sick Kids Hospital before moving on to Montreal the following day to greet fans at the La Coupole Restaurant. The Canadian tour goes out with a bang June 10 at the Crescent Street Grand Prix Festival. The tour also gives attendees a chance to win exclusive Batman memorabilia and passes to the movie’s Canadian premiere.
