The Dark Knight Rises premieres two TV Spots
Fans eager for another Dark Knight Rises preview have a reason to celebrate. If the seven-minute prologue that premiered in December or the just-released third trailer weren’t enough to satisfy your excitement, two 30-second teasers have made their way on television to tickle your taste buds before the grand finale, kicking off July 20. While they still fail to truly give viewers a sense of plot, the first TV spot focuses on Batman’s return with a disheveled Bruce Wayne pleading with Morgan Freeman’s Lucius, “I need you to get me back in the game.” However the reclusive billionaire may be a little rusty as his trusted butler Alfred (played by Michael Caine) quips at the end, “It takes a little time to get back in the swing of things.” The second promo shifts the spotlight to Anne Hathaway’s feisty Selina Kyle, also known as Catwoman, showcasing her scorching chemistry with Christian Bale. In one of the preview’s more memorable moments, Kyle steals Batman’s car in a rare piece of comic relief.
