While The Dark Knight Rises has not even hit theatres yet, Warner Brothers is already looking at the Blu-Ray/DVD bonus features. Five of the most memorable vehicles of Batman history were assembled outside the Warner Brothers lot in Burbank, California. The convoy of Batmobiles was led by George Barris, the man that designed the original Batmobile featured in both the TV show and the 1966 movie.

Also included in the parade were the Batmobiles from Joel Schumacher’s movies. The classic version used by Tim Burton, and the Tumbler— Christopher Nolan’s addition to the group. Presumably the vehicles were gathered for a retrospective look at Batman’s state-of-the-art method of transportation. While there won’t be a new version of the Batmobile in The Dark Knight Rises, the trailer for the summer blockbuster has revealed that the Batwing will be making an appearance when Christopher Nolan’s film hits theaters on July 20.
