Batman has gone from Dark Knight to Gotham’s Most Wanted. The makers behind the fast-approaching finale to the Christopher Nolan directed Batman trilogy have released an interactive promotional campaign on The Dark Knight Rises official website. The campaign features a clickable 12-page police report that describes a slew of crimes allegedly committed by the brooding caped crusader during the 2008 sequel, The Dark Knight. Among the crimes listed in the report: Harvey Dent’s death, the kidnapping of Commissioner James Gordon’s family and assault on several Gotham police personnel are attributed to the masked crime fighter. While the fictional police report could be a simple marketing strategy, it appears to be foreshadowing themes from the upcoming blockbuster in which Batman is a wanted man.
