Yesterday on Twitter Zack Snyder teased us all with a picture of the Batmobile with a tarp covering it. Today, Snyder not only showed off the new Batmobile but he also gave us a first look at Ben Affleck in the cape and cowl. The suit seems to be reminiscent of the Dark Knight Returns costume from Frank Miller’s comics. It has the thicker bat symbol and the cape and cowl are just like in the comic. It makes sense for the suit to emulate the iconic Dark Knight Returns outfit; Snyder has said that Affleck’s Batman is an older and wiser Batman. The Dark Knight Returns comic is about a 55-year-old Batman coming out of retirement to stop the Joker. ~Dylan Paisley
